Overview dashboard
Understand your sending totals, delivery rates and reputation indicators.
Overview shows workspace totals. To investigate one message or recipient, open Activity.
Choose what to view
- Open Overview in your workspace.
- Choose Date range: Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Custom.
- Use Domains to focus on selected sending domains, or leave it at All domains.
- Check the displayed time zone. Turn on Show in UTC if you need to compare with UTC logs.
Custom dates use the selected time zone. The maximum range is 90 days. The page refreshes every minute while open and visible; click Refresh for a new check. Updated shows when the displayed data last refreshed.
Read the totals
Most totals count recipients, not API requests. A message sent to three recipients can contribute three accepted recipients and different outcomes for each one.
| Metric | What it counts | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Accepted | Recipients of messages picked up for sending. | Check incoming sending volume. Rejected messages, when present, are shown separately as a message count. |
| Delivered | Recipients whose mail server accepted the message. | Check completed deliveries; this doesn't confirm inbox placement or reading. |
| Bounced | Failed recipient outcomes, including expired deliveries. | Review the breakdown and investigate failures in Activity. |
| Complained | Reported spam complaints. | Review the affected recipients and the email they received. |
| Deferred | Recipients with at least one temporary delivery failure. | Look for delays; the tile also shows retry attempts. |
| In progress | An estimate of accepted recipients without a final outcome. | Use Activity to check the exact status. |
A deferred recipient may later be delivered and count in both totals. Don't add the tiles together as if they were mutually exclusive.
Understand the rates
The dashboard calculates rates for the selected range and domains:
| Rate | Calculation |
|---|---|
| Delivery rate | Delivered ÷ (delivered + bounced + expired). |
| Bounce rate | (Bounced + expired) ÷ (delivered + bounced + expired). |
| Complaint rate | Complained ÷ delivered. |
| Deferral rate | Deferred recipients ÷ recipients with a final outcome, capped at 100%. |
In these formulas, bounced excludes expired outcomes; the Bounced tile includes them. A missing rate means there is no denominator yet, rather than a confirmed 0% rate. For example, nine delivered recipients and one bounced recipient give a 90% delivery rate and 10% bounce rate.
Comparisons use the previous corresponding period. For rated tiles, the comparison is between rates; for Accepted it is between counts. Check the period label before interpreting a change.
Read charts and sending health
The volume chart shows how sending changes over time. Short ranges up to 48 hours use hourly buckets; longer ranges use daily buckets. The bounce and complaint charts help locate when failure or complaint rates increased.
Reputation cards use Healthy, Warning and At risk labels, judged by the default limits (2 % and 5 % for bounces, 0.1 % and 0.3 % for complaints) or by the stricter limits you set under Deliverability alerts. Follow the action shown on a warning, then use Activity to inspect affected messages. A good delivery rate alone doesn't establish inbox placement.
| Signal | Next action |
|---|---|
| Rising bounce rate | Filter Activity for failed or bounced messages and inspect recipient responses. |
| Rising complaint rate | Review complaints and stop sending unwanted email to affected recipients. |
| Growing deferrals or in-progress totals | Check timelines for temporary failures and whether deliveries are still progressing. |

See what is still waiting
The Queue tab shows the emails that are still waiting or being retried right now, how long they have waited and where they are headed. See Queue.
Check your webhooks
If your role can view webhooks, a Webhooks card at the bottom of the Summary tab shows how your endpoints did in the last 24 hours: how many requests were sent, the failure rate, and how many endpoints are active, paused or disabled. A red failure rate or a paused or disabled endpoint means events are not reaching your system. Select View webhooks to open the endpoint and troubleshoot deliveries. Test events are not counted, and the card is hidden for people without webhook access.
Export your numbers
Select Export next to the refresh button to download the totals, the volume over time or the open Breakdown tab as an Excel or CSV file. See Export Overview data.
Why totals may differ from Activity
Overview counts accepted recipients when SendMero picked up the message, and outcomes when they happened. Activity's date filter selects messages by their Received time. A message accepted yesterday and delivered today can therefore appear in different periods in the two views.
No sending data yet means there is no sending data to display. Nothing sent in this range means the current filters have no results. Try a wider date range or other domains. If an error is shown, use Try again; don't interpret an error as a zero count.
- Compare the same domains, time zone and period when tracking changes.
- Review per-recipient outcomes before acting on an aggregate trend.
- Keep a message ID for any issue you escalate to support.
