Export Overview data

Download the numbers on your Overview as an Excel or CSV file, for reports, spreadsheets or sharing with your team.

The export follows the filters on the page: the date range, the domains you chose and the time zone (or UTC). What you download matches what you see.

Export a report

  1. Open Overview and set the Date range, Domains and time zone you want.
  2. Select Export.
  3. Choose a Format: Excel (.xlsx) (selected by default) or CSV.
  4. Choose a Report:
ReportWhat the file contains
Summary totals and ratesOne row per measure: accepted, delivered, in progress, bounced (hard, soft and stopped by SendMero), expired, deferred, complained and rejected. Each has its count, its percentage where one applies, and the same figures for the previous period of equal length. The last column shows what each percentage was worked out from, for example 3 of 8 recipients.
Volume over timeOne row per hour or day, with counts and percentages side by side: delivered and delivery rate, bounced and bounce rate, hard and soft bounces with their rates, and complained and complaint rate.
BreakdownThe table of the Breakdown tab you have open: by mailbox provider, domain, bounce reason, SMTP response or deferral reason. Provider and domain files include hard and soft bounce counts and rates.

The file downloads straight away. Its name includes the report and the dates, for example analytics-summary-2026-10-08-to-2026-10-14.xlsx.

Excel or CSV

  • Excel (.xlsx) opens with readable column widths, a bold header row that stays in view as you scroll, and numbers you can sort, filter and chart.
  • CSV works anywhere, including other tools and scripts. Spreadsheet apps open it with default column widths, so you may need to widen the columns.

Percentages are shown with one decimal place. Counts are recipients, not messages, the same as on the Overview.

Raw message data

This export is for totals. To download individual messages or their delivery events, use Export on Activity.

Who can export

The Export button appears for people whose role has the Export analytics and raw events permission. Owners, Admins, Developers and Analysts have it by default. Owners and Admins can change this for custom roles under Settings → Users & Permissions. Each export is recorded in the audit log with the report, date range and who downloaded it.

If Export is greyed out

The button is off when there is nothing to export: you haven't sent anything yet, or the current date range and domains have no results. Try a wider range or other domains.
